With a unique sound derived from years of eclectic experience, Neil Bradley is not your average country rock band. Drawing on old-fashioned cowboy charm, song writer/composer Bradley Runsick, (from rural Kansas) weaves textured melodies and storytelling as the band provides true rock n’ roll grit giving this band its distinctive groove.
Influenced by such artists as R.L. Burnside, Bruce Hornsby and Eric Clapton, Neil Bradley provides a sound reminiscent of decisive genres albeit intensified by the band’s multi-faceted background, mixing qualities of rock and country, adding blues elements, and following up with folk soul. In the true Hornsby-esque right-hand melodic piano run, Runsick plays powerful songs written from the heart that just ache to be in a Quentin Tarantino movie.
Prior to forming in early 2016, the Long Beach-based band members worked as individual artists doing extensive work in small venues and festivals throughout Southern California and Canada, with bragging rights to such gigs as opening for Ambrosia and Linda Ronstadt at The Coach House or sharing the two stage venue with Steve Miller Band at the Doheny Blues Festival.
Signing with Wright Records, Inc., Neil Bradley released their first single “Don’t Gamble With Love” in March 2017. The debut of their first full album is scheduled for release in summer 2017.
Neil Bradley consists of lead singer, songwriter, composer and keyboardist Bradley Runsick, lead guitarist Ken Mease, bassist Vince Washington and drummer Denis Pepin.
